Envirotyre have been operational since 1995 but was acquired by its current owners in 2005, and are now the largest collector of scrap tyres in Scotland and the North of England.
The company collects and re processes all types of scrap tyres and provides these services to over 1000 individual tyre shops ranging in size from the single premises business to the multi site business with collections completed from all areas in Scotland and the North of England.
In addition to collections from retail and wholesale sites Envirotyre also provide a clearance service for illegal dumped tyres and have completed a number of such jobs with over 10,000 tonnes collected from these sites in the past 12 months.
In 2008 Envirotyre expanded their operations in the North East of England with the establishment of a service centre in Durham.
